The short version: we store the minimum we need to claim spots for you, we don't run ads, and we never sell your data. Here is the full picture.
1. What we store
- Your account. First name, last name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We also record which referral code you joined with and the invite code assigned to you.
- Your dibs. The venue link, party size, the dates and times you gave us, and any optional notes. If you add a booking phone number so a venue can confirm the reservation, we store that too.
- Support messages. If you write to us, your name, email, and message are delivered to our inbox so we can reply.
That's the whole list. We don't collect payment details during the beta, we don't buy data about you, and we don't track you across other websites.
2. What we use it for
- Making the reservations you asked for, in your name.
- Emailing you about your account and your claims.
- Answering your support messages.
- Keeping the invite system fair (two uses per code).
We don't use your data for advertising, and we never sell or rent it to anyone.
3. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies only: the session cookie that keeps you logged in. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our hosting provider gives us anonymous, aggregate page statistics that are not tied to your identity.
4. Who processes your data
Your data lives with a small set of infrastructure providers acting on our instructions:
- Supabase hosts our database and handles authentication.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Resend delivers our emails, such as the confirmation link and support replies.
When we book on your behalf, we share with the venue only what the reservation requires: typically your name, party size, the time, and a contact detail if you provided one. Venues handle that information under their own policies.
5. How long we keep it
Account and dib data is kept while your account exists. When your account is deleted, it goes with it. Support emails stay in our mailbox so we can follow up on past conversations.
6. Your rights
It's your data. At any time you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete your account and everything in it. Write to us through the support page and we'll handle it promptly. If you are in a region with formal data protection rights, such as the EU, these requests are your legal right and we honor them as such.
7. Changes
If what we collect or how we use it ever changes, we will update this page and the date at the top, and email you about significant changes. The promise that we store the minimum and sell nothing is not going to change.
